Lamongan, 5th June 2022 - The environmental problem that is being faced today is a serious problem and has a very large impact, doing any means to solve such problems is necessary and one shall not do this alone as doing mutual cooperation by all parties will accelerate the effort to achieve a cleaner Indonesia.
Yesterday on 5th June 2022, the Vice Governor of East Java Emil Elestianto Dardak as well as the Head of Lamongan District, visited the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Lamongan to celebrate the World Environment Day where he has witnessed the success of the MRF that have reduced 70% of waste entering landfill.
During his visit to the MRF in Lamongan, Mr. Emil Dardak vowed that the MRF that is established in Lamongan has achieved its mission to reduce the flow of waste to be thrown into a landfill he also expressed that the Lamongan MRF was the first waste management innovation in Indonesia which has a partnership scheme using international standard technology.
MRF in Lamongan which is called TPST Samtaku was established in 2019 by Reciki in partnership with Lamongan Government and Danone Indonesia.
